Our Mission

Misfit Mushrooms has a mission to spread awareness and appreciation for mushrooms throughout our community, as well as educate the consumer on mushroom health benefits and nutritional value. We strive to be transparent and honest, producing with integrity, and providing the highest quality mushrooms with a positive environmental impact, rather than the other way around. Here at Misfit Mushrooms we are committed to making mushrooms a daily necessity for every household, spreading health and happiness in every region.

As the popularity of mushroom cultivation begins to grow there are still many who remain unaware or who are just beginning to acknowledge the wide possibilities mushrooms have to offer. Very soon gourmet mushrooms will be used at a much larger scale than they are in the United States, as omnipresent as the white button mushroom and Portobello are currently used. But until then you have us; two mushroom enthusiasts with a small mushroom farm, trying to spread the mushroom love to others.

Who are Misfit Mushrooms?

Our names are Alivia and Chad, and up until our discovery to the world of mycology we were just two misfits, looking for a place in this rotting world. Mushrooms have allowed us to not only grow an even greater love for our planet, but have had an everlasting impact on our quality of life. We decided it was time for our community to share this admiration for mushrooms with us; so here we are, Misfit Mushrooms, your local mushroom farm located in Clearfield, UT, and proudly providing beyond 50 miles of Davis County.
